2008 Carroll Goalie School schedule announced

MINNEAPOLIS / March 1 -- We are pleased to announce our 2008 schedule of goalie development programs. This year, we are offering 11 sessions conveniently scheduled in the evening and over the weekend at five popular Minneapolis-St. Paul area ice arenas.

"We're coming off one of our biggest and best years ever," explained Director Steve Carroll, an Edina ( Minn.) High School Hall of Fame goalie. "We have added
more sessions to help meet the needs of goalie families who are looking for additional opportunities to work with our talented coaching staff."

This is our 14 th exciting year of providing cutting-edge skill development programs for boys and girls of all levels and abilities.

“Parents know we are able to make improvements in their child’s goaltending skills,” Carroll said, “and boost their confidence in a challenging and upbeat atmosphere.”

Through the years, hundreds and hundreds of goalies from Minnesota, twelve other states and Canada have chosen our program to help take their game to the next level.

“The goalie position continues to evolve, but one thing that remains the same is that fundamentals are the still the foundation for success,” said Carroll. “That is among the areas we focus on during our on-ice sessions. We’re proud of the reputation we have earned as a leader in goalie development.”

Our experienced, dedicated and personable coaching staff makes our school special. Together we have more than 60 years of goalie coaching experience at the college, high school and youth levels.

Our staff features three former stand-out goalies including Carroll, a college hockey All-American goalie; Jen Hanley Tuttle, a girls’ hockey pioneer and former USA Women’s National team goalie; and Kevin Galbraith, a goalie who led his Edina High School team to a Minnesota state title.
